Jack Berriault: 1930 - 2016
On behalf of Jack’s family and TIPP’s Board of Directors, I bear the sad news of the passing of Jack Berriault, TIPP’s founder and Executive Director. Jack passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, August 23, 2016 at home in Mexico, after a long period of declining health. With his death, I lost a dear friend of over a decade and one of the most inspiring people I have ever encountered in life.

Jack Berriault: A New Approach to the Relationship between Palestinian Arabs and Jewish Israelis!
In his second post on the TIPP Blog, Jack Berriault, TIPP's founder, presents his thoughts on a new approach to the context and subject of TIPP's work in the world: the relationship between the Palestinian Arabs and Jewish Israelis.
This approach, based on the power of "story", is the touchstone of TIPP's book A Common Historical Narrative, about to be published, and a program of workshops, now under development, that will generate the possibility of a transformed future for Palestine and Israel.

We think that Uri Avnery has nailed it. His recent article is like an echo of the stand The Israel Palestine Project (TIPP) has been for some time. Particularly valuable is his “directive” to new leaders that they include all minorities living in Israel as well as the West Bank, and I assume Gaza as well. This is critical.
